Week 6- Vibrations

 Are all vibrations “good”? I believe that vibrations are just simply vibrations. They can be noticed in the most subtle of ways or unsubtle. I believe that our idea of negative vibrations could be related to very low vibrational frequencies. When you meet a new person and just have the gut feeling that the person is not a good person. That's the vibration you are feeling from their qi or energy field. Same with if you meet someone new and you instantly like them and have good vibes from them. Again you are feeling their energy. Another way of thinking about it as a jam band. Example the band Phish sometimes plays improvisational music that just makes us feel so good. Then all of a sudden they fall out of rhythm with one another and they clash. They create music that may make the fan feel uncomfortable or not happy. That discomfort is being sent through the crowd through the speakers. Those vibrations are creating energy which can trigger feelings and emotions for a particular re...

Week 5: Symmetry/ Super Symmetry

My (a)symmetrical world When I think of symmetry being applied to the body or/and spirit. It makes me think of how the body is always trying to find a place of homeostasis. The goal is to have the body and all of its systems in perfect balance. Which also is represented in the yin/yang symbol. In order for this balance to occur opposite energies or systems have to work together to find this balance. The opposites working together for a whole is symmetrical..but nothing is perfect. So the body/soul is the whole and the systems within it need to find balance in order to find symmetry.

Week-4 Energy, Matter and the Four Forces

How has e=mc^2 affected you? This formula has caused me stress while using it chemistry.  This formula shows that all matter contains energy. Even the smallest particle contains mass, which is energy. Everything around us is energy. All of these energetic products are directly influencing one another. I am energy and I am made up of energy...I am an energetic being. So his formula affects everything that happens to me internally and externally at all times.  How would you compare the four forces? Weakest to->>>>>>> greatest force gravity, weak nuclear force, electromagnetic force, strong nuclear force the forces interact with one another to great things such as the grand unified theory. Where the weak and strong nuclear force comes together like a magnet. All of these forces are separate but they work together to create one great force or many great forces at a team.  What is the function of gravity?  "Gravitation i...

Week 3- Synchronicity

What evidence can you find for synchronicity While backpacking throughout India, Thailand and China synchronicity happens all of the time. To the point where if it doesn't happen for a bit. I feel like I'm out of the flow. Having synchronistic moments occur is a sign that the universe is guiding my way and I am on the right path. I think this happens because backpacking without an itinerary is a way of surrendering to the universe. This practice lets the universe show you what serves you. So almost on the daily while traveling I find myself in the perfect place at the perfect time. Running into exactly who I meant. Quite a few time while I was in India I would meet someone randomly on a Himalayan hike and 3 months later run into them on the complete opposite side of the country at a market, on a train or someplace random. Synchronistic moments happen all of the time in everyday as well. Like when I think of my mom and she calls. My own personal experience was the best e...

Week 2- Quantum Mechanics

1. Blog Assignments for Week 2:  Your reflections on Uncertainty:       This principle tells us that there is a limit to what we humans can know and understand about quantum particles. There are things that are too small that cannot be measured. Which is where the Uncertainty principle comes in. From what I understand, it is to difficult to get exact measurements of energy and time. We also cannot precisely measure the position and the momentum of a particle  SImply the act of observing or witnessing something occur directly affects what occurred. An example of this is Schrodinger's cat. This cat is chambered up with radioactive substances. When the observer opens the chamber after an hour the cat being alive or dead could be directly influenced by the observer. maybe the cat died only when the observer opened the chamber. This principle says any external influence to something can possibly influence what is happening.  I feel like this pr...

Week one Assignments

My Bio: The names Ashlynn Feltz, and I've been on this earth for 25 years. I am originally from Wisconsin, but left at 21 for my first major backpacking trip. My first voyage out of this country was India, where I ended up staying for 6 months. I also have been to Thailand and China. China was my most recent trip. I have been a Massage therapist for 5 years and am blessed to have my own private practice in Sonoma. I am a lover of learning, helping others, the outdoors, yoga, taichi, qigong, meditation, laughing, dancing, tea ceremonies, and deep conversations. I am excited to learn and grow in mind, body, and spirit with my new career to come. 😊 The Meaning of time:    - Can We Slow Time Down?     Whenever I think of slowing down time or speeding up time, I think of Einstein's theory of relativity. Time can be slowed down with time dilation. Time dilation can only occur when moving forward in time and not backward. As a humans speed increases, then time will ...
