BioChem- Cell Biology and Radioactivity

We read about how Trumps administration believes a little radiation is good for us. This was a very frustrating topic for me to listen to.  I was born and raised in Wisconsin where there is a lot of nuclear plants. I have very close family friends that have spent their entire working in those plants. Almost all of them have fought or been taken from cancer in this life. I have seen and have heard of so many employees getting cancer that worked in those plants. I do not think that is a coincidence. I believe that radiation can have horrible effects on the human body. Trump and his people are just doing it for money.

I really enjoy the virtual cell link. When I took biology we spend a lot of time coloring pictures and seeing it in 2D. It's really nice being able to have an interactive 3D visual of the cell. I think it's awesome that you can click on them and learn what you need to. I wish I had this link when I needed it class!

    I also found that article to be disturbing and unfortunate that country "leaders" are trying to change policy and use media to influence and manipulate people into believing that radiation would be good for humans without sufficient evidence and proof. It is clear that this claim is for monetary gains even at the cost of our environment and the nation's health.

Each culture in the world views time differently. In western culture, time is perceived to be more linear. In America time is valuable on a financial level. Anyone in the western business world typically believes that time is money. Also in the western business world, they believe that making quick decisions is important. If a decision isn’t made right away then time is being wasted and so is their money. Westerns are not as careful with considering how it may affect the future and what mistakes have been made in the past. For the westerns its efficiency they value. Week 9- Sacred Geometry and Fibonacci

Ø   Are there connections you can make between Sacred Geometry and Physics? There are many links between Sacred Geometry and Physics.  Such as quantum entanglement. In Sacred Geometry measurement is very important and so is the calculation. One degree of difference in design will change and influence the rest of the of geometry.
